How To Update Samsung Tablet: P7310 Galaxy Tab 8.9 Firmware

Before you start the update operation you need to get the wanted Firmware Package and extract it, Then get the Odin flasher and USB drivers.
For the USB drivers you need to extract the downloaded ZIP file and install the drivers.

Now you have everything you need to update your tablet using original USB cable, So follow the next steps one by one to get your tablet updated.

Tablet Firmware Update Steps:

- After you run Odin flasher check these:

Re-Partition, Auto Reboot, F.Reset Time

- From the Firmware folder you have to select the files in this order:

PIT: p5_0614.pit

BOOTLOADER: BOOTLOADER_P7310_SMD_UNIFICATION.tar

PDA: CODE_P7310xxxxx_CL514801_REV00_user_low_ship_xxx.tar.md5

CSC: CSC_P7310xxxxx_CL514801_REV00_user_low_ship_xxx.tar.md5

- In this step you should put your tablet into Download Mode:

Press Volume Down + Power for 10 Sec, then press Volume Up Key.

- Connect USB cable to your tablet and PC and install USB drivers for the tablet if needed.

- Look at Odin's window and make sure that Odin gets the Com port number of your tablet.

- When all the above steps are done correctly you can click START button and let Odin works.

- While Odin is Updating your tablet do not interrupt it at all and wait till the tablet rebooted automatically.

- If the Updating goes well then you will see PASS! word in Green at Odin's window.

- Disconnect your tablet and Do Full Reset using this Code: *2767*3855#.

- Wait till the tablet fully rebooted and then start making the wanted settings to use it the way you like.


Notice: Whenever you have one File only inside the firmware package then you should select it as PDA file and no need for Pit file too.
